5th Grade Math: Lately I have noticed that some students are not doing their homework. In order to make the students more responsible, I sent home a letter and a list of missing work with each child today. I expect the students to show them to their parents and return the bottom part signed, so I know that their parents have seen it. Tonight's homework is pages 111 and 112 in their workbooks. It is over using division in story problems and how to look at the remainder. Sometimes we need to round up to the nearest whole number and sometimes we need to ignore it.
2nd & 3rd Grade Read Naturally: Congrats to Xander who completed his 24th story today, earning him a book to take home! Keep up the great reading!
