5th Grade Math: Tonight's homework is to complete Unit 5 Study Guide. Tomorrow during class we will go over the answers to the Study Guide, and I will answer any questions the students have about how to do any of the problems. The test will be on Thursday.

2nd & 3rd Grade Read Naturally: Congrats to Zach who completed his 60th story today! He earned a book to take home.

5th Grade Math: Today we went over converting fractions to decimals again. Homework for tonight is Converting Fractions & Decimals (A) worksheet.

2nd & 3rd Grade Read Naturally: Congrats to Josh who earned a prize today after finishing his 42nd book! Awesome job!!!

5th Grade Math: Students reviewed how to convert a fraction to a decimal, percent, and ratio. Their homework for tonight is to complete Converting Fractions & Decimals (B) worksheet.

2nd & 3rd Grade Read Naturally: Congratulations to Riley, Aiden, & Evan who all earned books today! Riley completed her 12th book, Aiden his 36th, and Evan his 48th! Way to go all of you!!!

5th Grade Math: Students are continuing to review for the test that we have coming up. Today we reviewed equivalent fractions. I showed them how to find equivalent fractions by multiplying the numerator and the denominator by the same number. Homework for tonight is to complete the equivalent fractions worksheet, front and back.

5th Grade Math: In Math today, students are starting to review what we have been learning in the past few weeks. Today we reviewed how to compare fractions using <, >, and =. Homework for tonight is to complete Comparing Fractions worksheet, side B & C.

2nd & 3rd Grade Read Naturally: Congrats to Kendal who earned a book after completing her 48th book! Wow! That's a lot of stories!

May 1st

5th Grade Math: 5th Graders had a review of the concepts that we have learned about in Unit 5. They need to complete pages 162 & 163 in their workbooks for homework tonight. This is the last assignment in their workbooks for a while. I do encourage them to look over some of the work that they have done in their workbooks to see if they can improve their grade on any of the pages.

2nd & 3rd Grade Read Naturally: Congrats to Kailyn and Cierra who both earned books today! Kailyn finished her 48th book and Cierra finished her 24th! Great job girls!
